with the moment.
“Everything happened so quickly. I’m still taking
it in but it is fantastic. I am elated. It’s just me
expressing myself on the field,” he said.
“For me, it was just about coming here and
playing my game. Don’t change anything. I
had a good season in club cricket in Trinidad
and it was just about me coming out here to
express myself, under no pressure. I had nothing
to lose. Just come out here and do my thing,”
The former Naparima College player joined
the CCC team on Wednesday after the squad
had lost six games in a row.
He said he was warmly
greeted and has received
only positive messages
from his fellow players and
management.
“They just kept believing in
me and they told me to
believe in myself also. They
shared only positive words
with me,” he said.
